Destined to be Great
There was once a man that embarked on a journey long ago with the sole intention of finding the House of God.
After years of searching without any success, anger and frustration began to besiege him.
Exhausted, covered in sweat he sat by a stream.
“Victory has eluded me” hollered the man. “I feel as if I am chasing after the wind” he exclaimed.
Disheartened, but soothed by the sound of the running stream; the man began to fall asleep.
As he slumbered, he was suddenly awakened by two red cardinals that landed adjacent to him. And they began to chirp. Instead of flying away, the birds began to walk. The man mustered up the strength and began to follow. They diverged into the wilderness, and after some time the majestic birds led him to what it is he was looking for. After years of searching, he finally found it. The colossal doors, behind them he heard the sound harmonious harps and melodic melodies. However, he couldn’t find the courage within himself to knock. So he turned, and continued on his journey….
This could be the opportunity that changes your life. However, you already know this; all the signs and stars align. But still you’d rather self sabotage; allowing low self esteem and doubt to creep in. Why is it that on the cusp of greatness you lack belief? Subconsciously, you know you were destined to be great. But that is exactly what you’re afraid of. The success would destroy your identity. It could’ve been that easy all along. You’d have to come to terms with your life being lie. It’s easier for you to fail, than succeed, and change yourself.
Therefore, my brothers and sisters I encourage you to accept your higher calling. The Lord has bestowed upon you all many gifts, talents, and abilities. Do not the enemy deceive you. Turn your swag back on, remember who you are! You’re divinely guided and destined to be great. FMP
