No Surrender. Sink The Ships.

Greatness is making a choice to find out what’s on the other-side of commitment.

“This is it. This will work.”

No escape route.
No plan B.

Just the mission.

Making the decision to leave no stone unturned in order to birth dreams into reality.

As the saying goes, “fortune favors the bold.”

Therefore, history remembers those who choose commitment over comfort.

For example, when Alexander the Great landed on enemy shores, he ordered that their ships be destroyed. He didn’t hype up his army with an emotional speech.

Instead, he created a reality where victory was no longer a goal; it was the only option.

Years later, Hernán Cortés did the same in Mexico. His men stood on foreign shores as they purposely watched their ships burn and sink into the vastness of the ocean.

In those moment, I believe something shifts in a person.

Comfort and excuses vanish.

When left with no other option, we discover our limitless capacity to achieve the extraordinary.

Unfortunately, a lot of us carry insecurities and doubt. So we consciously and subconsciously, “keep our options open.”

We hide behind strategy.

And often call it wisdom.

But in reality, it’s just wavering.
It’s a lack of trust in ourselves.

Every time we “protect” ourselves from the full weight of commitment, we shortchange our greatness.

Divided devotion doesn’t just produce divided results.
It creates division within us.

Half in. Half out.
Half confident. Half committed.

“Anything half-good is also half-bad.”

So I leave you with this:

Commit wholeheartedly to Gods will and your goals.

Sink the ships.

Not for applause.
Nor to prove a point.
But to live nobly, and never again negotiate with your potential.

When surrender is off the table, success has no choice but to find you.

Forward only.
No retreat.

No surrender. Sink the Ships.
